Andy grew up in Auckland, New Zealand, and graduated from Auckland Grammar School before beginning his career at local accounting firms, including BDO Auckland, where he worked for four years. He then moved to New York and joined the audit team at BDO New York, gaining six years of international audit and accounting experience. Andy further broadened his expertise in the corporate sector, working with RailWorks Corporation (construction) and Pathway Capital Management (investment management), where he was involved in financial reporting, accounting, and strategic finance. In 2025, Andy returned to Auckland to establish his own Chartered Accountancy practice.
